Joe Dalum is President and Chief Executive Officer of Odyne Systems, LLC, a leader in hybrid systems for medium and heavy duty trucks. He has overall leadership and management responsibility for the strategic direction and operations of the company. Dalum has management and technical experience in the automotive component and truck manufacturing sectors. He has provided testimony before the U.S. Senate committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the committee on Science and Technology, U.S. House of Representatives, in support of plug-in hybrid medium and heavy duty truck technology. Prior to helping found Odyne Systems, LLC, Dalum worked for DUECO, Inc., a large final stage manufacturer of medium and heavy duty trucks. He started working for DUECO, Inc. in 1999 as an Engineering Manager and held roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President and Executive Vice President. Previously, he developed automotive products and systems for over 10 years with GM and Delphi. He has worked on a variety of domestic and international programs with vehicle manufacturers, including General Motors (both domestic and foreign subsidiaries), Suzuki, Isuzu and Fiat. He has extensive experience in managing projects and bringing new technology from initial concept into high volume production. Dalum has been granted eight U.S. patents in the area of automotive technology.
Turbiville had previous experience as President of Trudell Trailer located in DePere, WI. Trudell Trailer is currently the largest dealer of Great Dane trailers. Turbiville is moving the company forward by analyzing and improving processes and streamlining workflows. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota and an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago. • 30+ years of financial experience Phillip Eidler - Vice President of Operations; Dr. Phillip Eidler is Vice President of Operations for Odyne Systems. He formerly served as CEO of ZBB Technologies, a utility energy storage spin out from Johnson Controls, Inc. Eidler has worked in a variety of executive roles at Johnson Controls, Eaton and Modine reorganizing, or preparing product lines/technologies for divesture. • 25+ years experience in both large OEM and start-up companies Matt Jarmuz - Director of Sales; • 10+ years experience in sales, engineering, product development, the truck industry and hybrid applications Bill Mammen - Director of Engineering; Mammen is the Director of Engineering of Ody • 15+ years of experience in automotive industries in conventional and hybrid applications Louise Hermsen - Marketing Manager; Hermsen leads the marketing, branding and communications for Odyne Systems. Prior to joining the company, she served as Vice President, Planning and Support Services, directing marketing and communication programs at P&H Mining Equipment in Milwaukee. She held marketing leadership roles in other business segments within Harnischfeger Corporation for over 20 years. Earlier in her career, she held a progression of marketing management roles at Case New Holland in Racine, Wisconsin, where she supported the Case/IH lines of construction and utility equipment. She brings depth in marketing heavy and utility equipment and services through distribution organizations globally, integrated marketing communications and public relations.
