Odyne's mission and goals continue to attract strong partners; some are noted here: Terex Utilities has been appointed as distributor of Odyne hybrid systems throughout U.S. and globally. Sales orders domestically are up substantially in 2011 and the new distribution agreement with Terex Utilities is anticipated to significantly expand opportunities. Odyne estimates an addressable market of 250,000 units worldwide per year for new and retrofit work truck hybrid systems. Muncie Power Products provides the power take-off in the Odyne Hybrid Power system. Muncie Power has been serving the truck equipment market with mobile power components and systems for over 75 years. Dump trucks, refuse trucks, aerial buckets, tow trucks and dozens of other applications function in part because of Muncie products. Over the past decade, an influx of innovative thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement has propelled Muncie to a leadership role in their industry.
