President and CEO Joe Dalum was one of six Fuel Ambassadors in discussion of fuel types

The conference provided an expert resource for vehicle and truck fleet professionals to learn new strategies for lowering cost of ownership, improving fleet efficiency, and staying up to date with the industry’s latest technological advances.

As one of six Fuel Ambassadors from various organizations representing different alternative fuels and technologies, Odyne President and CEO Joe Dalum participated in the All-Fuels Super Session on Wednesday, October 29 at 2:00pm in Schaumburg, IL. During the session, Dalum presented information about the use of electric drive in fleet applications, including battery, hybrid and plug-in electric drive technologies and infrastructure.

Dalum and other experts were available to meet and network with attendees throughout the conference, and provide insight on the latest technological advancements, products and resources for their respective fuels.

Odyne also participated in the 2014 Ride & Drive Event portion of the conference in cooperation with ComEd. An Odyne hybrid system powered Altec DL42BC digger derrick on an International 4300 chassis was featured in the Ride & Drive. The Odyne system provided increased efficiency during driving and an all-electric mode during stationary operations with the engine off.
