Pewaukee, Wisc., January 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/ – Odyne Systems, LLC, a leader in electrification technologies for medium and heavy-duty vehicles, is pleased to announce and celebrate that today, the company has reached its 15th anniversary milestone.

Since 2009, Odyne has delivered electrification systems to over 80 fleets, built a nationwide service network, and developed an exclusive relationship with Allison Transmission, the world’s largest
manufacturer of fully automatic transmissions for medium and heavy-duty vehicles. The company has benefitted from over $32 million in awarded projects with federal and state governments, including a
recent project with the U.S. Air Force, which has helped to test and validate the effectiveness of its vehicle efficiency and emissions reduction technology for trucks that weigh over 14,000 pounds.

Odyne has been granted over 60 proprietary patents advancing plug-in electric system technology for large truck applications. Through the innovation, passion, and dedication of the Odyne team and its
partners, along with the leadership and vision of Joe Dalum, founder, president, and CEO of Odyne Systems, LLC, Odyne is on track to deliver over 500 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and Electric Power Take-Off (ePTO) systems since its inception across the United States and Canada before the end of
2024.

Odyne continues to expand with the 2023 announcement of Odyne’s zero emissions export power system to eliminate onboard generators on the Daimler Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) electric MT50e chassis. Both private and public utilities use thousands of these step-vans for trouble-shooting and underground utility work in cities and communities. Also, in 2023, the IRS designated Odyne as a Qualified Manufacturer, enabling purchasers of trucks with Odyne PHEV systems to claim a Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit of up to $40,000, significantly reducing the price of electrification systems and improving ROI and the company expanded production of its PHEV system for large truck mounted cranes through its partnership with Interstate Companies.

Looking forward, Joe Dalum commented, “Odyne appreciates the close relationships we have built with fleet customers, Allison Transmission, and truck OEMs over the past 15 years. Odyne is experiencing
rapid growth and expansion as our truck electrification products and technology become widely adopted. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers as the truck industry transitions to a cleaner, lower cost, electrified future.”
